The brand is a sign in the form of
images, names, words, letters, figures, composition of colors or a combination
of these elements, having distinguishing features and used in the trade and
services.
Trade Marks are the brands used on
goods traded by someone or several persons jointly or a legal entity to
distinguish from other similar goods.
Services Mark is a brand that is used
for services traded by someone or several persons jointly or a legal entity to
distinguish from other similar services.
Collective Marks is a brand that is
used on the goods and / or services with the same characteristics as those
traded by several legal entities together to distinguish the goods and / or
other similar services.
The Function Of Brand
The use of a trademark is fuction as:
1. Signs
identifier to distinguish production output, generated by person or persons jointly
or a legal entity with the production of another person or other legal entity;
2. As
a promotional tool, thus promoting their products simply by calling its brand;
3. As a
guarantee for the quality of the goods;
4. Showing
the origin of the goods / services produced.
